Today is my big day. I am going on the big plane. We got up early and went to the airport in Armidale where we got on a little plane. It was very noisy when the plane took off, then it got quieter. Going in the plane for the first time was very exciting. We flew over Sydney and I could see the Opera House and Harbour Bridge out the window (they looked really small, because I was high up(. Now we waiting in Sydney for the next big plane.

Hi I am Heather, I am 5 and in Kindergarten at St Marys Catholic Primary School (KK). I am too young to have my own blog so my dad has set this up for me, so I can let all my friends know about the big trip my mum and dad are taking me on.

About three years ago my dad got an offer to be included in a group who were going to Scotland to play golf. From there this trip just escalated, so we are now going to be away from home for six weeks, and we will be visiting more than ten countries. This is the most exciting thing that I have done in my short life, and I would like to share it with you.

This weekend we have been packing our clothes. This has been difficult because we will be going to countries that will be hot and others that will be cold. I have my own bag and I will have to pull it on is wheels. I also have a backpack for the things I want to keep the closest to me.

I can't wait! I hope to be on here most nights to keep you updated on my travels. Stay around for the next episode in my adventure.
